Strengthening HIV prevention engagement through an AI counselor

Under a research study, Audere’s HealthPulse AI Counselor (VimbAI) has been embedded in a WhatsApp chatbot to strengthen HIV prevention engagement for those on ‘the edge of sex work’ through an established program for sex workers in Zimbabwe while maximizing the effective prevention coverage of female sex workers. Delivered in partnership with CeSHHAR, the AI Counselor will offer accessible self-care, provide empathetic counseling and digitally guided testing, encourage individuals to get tested for HIV and connect them to the necessary care through a clinician chat.
