Dr. Jana Alagarajah, MD, is a digital global mental health specialist with training in public health and psychiatry (UK trained), and extensive clinical experience in HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH). Jana is a Clinical AI Implementation Associate at Audere, where he strengthens AI monitoring, labelling, and harm-prevention frameworks, serves as a clinical reviewer and trainer, and expands the knowledge base to ensure safe, accurate, and cost-effective AI use in Audere’s products. Beyond his role at Audere, his work centres on designing, implementing, evaluating and scaling digital/GenAI-based health interventions in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), serving as Innovation Lab Consultant at StrongMinds. Jana also advises on digital mental health policy for organisations such as the Wellcome Trust, MHRA, SAHPRA, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)  and UNICEF, while also leading evaluations of digital mental health interventions through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
